Netpoleon expands security portfolio with Thales & Imperva
Netpoleon has expanded its cybersecurity portfolio across Australia and New Zealand, aiming to deliver broader data and application security solutions. The expansion builds on the distributor's established relationship with Thales and now incorporates Imperva's data and application security portfolio, offering a wider suite of integrated technologies to regional organisations.
Portfolio integration
Having distributed Thales CipherTrust since 2020, Netpoleon has played a significant role in assisting organisations across government, finance, and critical infrastructure. The recent integration of Imperva's technologies with Thales' existing offerings enables a more comprehensive approach to protecting data and applications for clients in sectors where compliance and resilience remain top priorities.
The expanded cybersecurity portfolio aims to provide customers with increased flexibility to align data and application controls within their environments. This development enhances Netpoleon's support for both partners and customers, emphasising an end-to-end approach to cybersecurity and compliance management.
Partner ecosystem
Netpoleon says the updated portfolio opens new opportunities for collaboration throughout its partner ecosystem, including managed service providers, systems integrators, and resellers. The company plans to deliver expanded resources, training, and managed services opportunities across both the Thales and Imperva portfolios, supporting partners as they deal with increasing security and compliance demands in the market.
"The expansion of our cybersecurity portfolio marks a pivotal moment for the industry and for our customers in Australia and New Zealand. The Netpoleon team in ANZ augments Thales in its go-to-market strategy across the areas of channel sales, marketing, business development, and customer success. The addition of Imperva's data and application security portfolio to the CipherTrust Data Security Platform means we can now help our partners deliver a broader, more integrated suite of solutions that protect critical assets at every layer," said Paul Lim, Regional Director for Netpoleon in ANZ.
Compliance focus
The combination of Thales and Imperva solutions is designed to address a range of risks, particularly in cloud-native and digital-first environments. It also supports regional organisations in meeting evolving regulatory requirements, including those set by the Australian Prudential Regulation Authority and recent legislation under the Security of Critical Infrastructure Act and updated privacy laws.
Netpoleon's portfolio now covers identity and access management, structured and unstructured data protection, application and API security, and advanced analytics to support businesses seeking to comply with these frameworks.
Security landscape
The update comes at a time of growing cybersecurity threats and stricter regulatory burdens for businesses across the region. Netpoleon positions its expanded suite as a response to these shifts, offering its partner network new tools to protect critical information assets and to strengthen organisational resilience amid a complex landscape.
"As cyber threats evolve and organisations navigate increasingly complex regulatory requirements, the combined capabilities of Thales and Imperva significantly strengthen the security ecosystem. With its strong local presence and expertise, Netpoleon is well positioned to help regional partners deliver comprehensive solutions that enhance resilience and protect critical data," said Charles Lim, Vice President of Channel Sales, APJ at Thales.
