Group-IB & SecurityHQ form global partnership on cybersecurity

Thu, 22nd Aug 2024

Group-IB, a developer of cybersecurity technologies, has announced a global partnership with SecurityHQ, a managed security service provider (MSSP). This agreement aims to integrate Group-IB's Threat Intelligence, Attack Surface Management, and Digital Risk Protection solutions into SecurityHQ's operations, enhance the capabilities of SecurityHQ's global Security Operation Centers (SOCs), and expand its portfolio with advanced Fraud Protection services.

The agreement was formalised at Group-IB's Singapore headquarters. Vladimir Goliashev, the Director of MSSP and MDR at Group-IB, and Aaron Hambleton, the Regional Director (MEA) of SecurityHQ, were present for the official signing.

Goliashev underscored the significance of the collaboration by stating, "We are thrilled to partner with SecurityHQ, a recognised leader in the managed security services landscape. This collaboration is a significant step forward in advancing global cybersecurity efforts. By integrating our cutting-edge solutions in Attack Surface Management, Threat Intelligence, and Digital Risk Protection with SecurityHQ's extensive expertise and operational reach, we are enhancing the capabilities of Security Operation Centers (SOCs) worldwide."

He added, "This partnership not only strengthens our mutual commitment to safeguarding critical digital assets but also underscores our shared vision of delivering unparalleled security solutions. We look forward to a fruitful collaboration that will drive innovation and deliver exceptional value to our clients."

Hambleton echoed similar sentiments, praising Group-IB's contributions to the cybersecurity field. "Group-IB has consistently stood out in delivering high-quality threat intelligence and comprehensive insights that are crucial for our operations," he said. "Our alignment in objectives reinforced our decision to partner with Group-IB as we believe that, together, we can provide unparalleled service and protection to our clients."

The new partnership aims to combine Group-IB's state-of-the-art Threat Intelligence and Digital Risk Protection with SecurityHQ's bespoke managed security services to improve global SOC capabilities. Integrating these technologies is expected to augment SecurityHQ's operational expertise, which will now be better equipped to defend against sophisticated digital threats.

In addition to bolstering cybersecurity efforts, Group-IB offers a comprehensive MSSP and MDR Partner Program designed to provide essential resources for threat intelligence, threat hunting, and incident response. This program is tailored to support MSSP partners by offering scalable tools to tackle, prevent, and eliminate digital threats. According to Group-IB, the flexibility of pay-as-you-go licensing within this program allows MSSP partners to expand their businesses, improve performance, and develop new or enhanced managed services.

The collaboration between the two companies also aims to focus on clients in the financial sector. SecurityHQ's enhanced financial services portfolio will feature advanced Fraud Protection services, leveraging Group-IB's specialised cybersecurity solutions tailored for banking and financial institutions.

Group-IB's influence in the cybersecurity market is underscored by its recognition in 2024 when it received a 5-Star Award in the Partner Program Guide by CRN, a brand of The Channel Company. This accolade highlights companies demonstrating a robust commitment to nurturing strong, profitable, and successful channel partnerships.
