Goran Risticevic, Vice President and Managing Director, Asia Pacific at Cloudflare, commented on the appointment, stating, "Pat's deep expertise and leadership in the technology sector make him well positioned to guide our next phase of growth in Australia and New Zealand. His focus on strengthening our team, our partner ecosystem, as well as delivering measurable outcomes for customers, will be key as we continue to scale our business."
Cloudflare reports that its network is relied upon by millions of organisations globally, including businesses of all sizes, non-profit organisations, humanitarian groups, and governments. According to the company, its connectivity cloud platform supports organisations in improving security, reducing complexity and costs, and enhancing both employee and application experiences securely.
The company's footprint across Australia, New Zealand, and the Oceania region is part of a broader strategy to enable local and global customers to address cybersecurity risks and challenges associated with digital transformation. Cloudflare's platform covers cloud-native products and developer tools intended for a range of business requirements in connectivity and threat mitigation.
Cloudflare intends for the leadership change in Australia and New Zealand to further align its regional activities with global objectives focused on security, performance, and operational scale. The company continues to invest in expanding its infrastructure and workforce across the region to meet rising demand and adapt to the local needs of enterprises and organisations.
