Wavelink & Swimlane partner to boost AI security in ANZ

Tue, 21st May 2024

Wavelink has announced a strategic partnership and distribution agreement with Swimlane, a leader in automation for security organisations. This partnership will focus on the distribution of Swimlane’s artificial intelligence (AI)-enhanced security automation platform in Australia and New Zealand (ANZ), alongside comprehensive support and services to ensure seamless integration and optimisation of the solution.

The centrepiece of this collaboration is Swimlane’s Turbine platform, which aims to set new standards for security operations (SecOps). The platform has been recently augmented with Hero AI, a suite of AI-enhanced innovations, and Turbine Canvas, a low-code automation building studio. These tools provide curated automation solutions for key security operations centre (SOC) use cases, now accessible through the newly revamped Swimlane Marketplace. This full-stack marketplace offers a range of integrations and an ever-expanding toolbox of content.

Swimlane customers have reported a 60 per cent increase in SOC efficiency, resulting in significant improvements in mean time to detect (MTTD), mean time to respond (MTTR), and a reduction in dwell time. The user-friendly, low-code design of Turbine supports rapid deployment and customisation, making it a highly effective solution for enhancing the efficiency of security teams and reducing operational costs.

Peter Owen, ANZ regional sales director for Swimlane, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership: “Through Swimlane’s partnership with Wavelink, the company is excited to broaden the reach of its AI-enhanced security automation platforms by tapping into a wider market. Leveraging Wavelink's strong cybersecurity presence, Swimlane aims to equip more organisations with advanced automation and orchestration tools. This integration bolsters customers' cybersecurity capabilities, providing them with a comprehensive suite of tools to enhance operational security readiness and resilience.”

Ilan Rubin, chief executive officer of Wavelink, shared a similar sentiment: “Wavelink is thrilled to enrich its robust suite of enterprise solutions through the company's strategic collaboration with Swimlane. Wavelink specialises in delivering advanced technologies to its clients, facilitating protection and proactive security management. By integrating Swimlane’s cutting-edge AI-enhanced security automation technology into its portfolio, Wavelink is equipping its clients with essential tools to pre-emptively address and neutralise cybersecurity threats. This partnership marks a pivotal step as Wavelink continues to evolve and strengthen its commitment to delivering top-tier cybersecurity solutions across various industries.”

This partnership signals a significant move for both companies as they aim to enhance security operations for organisations across the ANZ region. By uniting their expertise and resources, Wavelink and Swimlane aspire to provide a more robust and efficient security framework, helping businesses to manage and mitigate cyber threats proactively.
