Outpost24 names Martin Roth Chief Technology Officer to lead tech push

Outpost24 has appointed Martin Roth as Chief Technology Officer (CTO).

Martin Roth joins the company with more than 25 years of software development experience, having previously held leadership positions at companies including Learnster, Viaplay, and Snow Software, which is now part of Flexera.

During his career, Roth has played a key role in scaling global Research and Development organisations during rapid growth periods. His focus has included setting up modern engineering and DevOps practices, as well as implementing initiatives aimed at strengthening software delivery, innovation, and security within large enterprise platforms. He has also led distributed teams working in complex and security-sensitive environments.

In his new role at Outpost24, Roth will be responsible for leading the company's engineering and technology strategy on a global scale. His remit includes shaping product architecture, streamlining delivery, and establishing best practices for development - all with a focus on supporting agility and performance.

The company has indicated that Roth will be at the forefront of advancing its transition to cloud-native technologies, with plans to increase development in AI-driven solutions to support customers in improving operational efficiency and cybersecurity.

Outpost24 provides a full-stack security platform that includes continuous threat exposure management (CTEM), digital risk protection, cyber threat intelligence, and compliance solutions. Under Roth's leadership, the company aims to build scalable systems and foster empowered engineering teams to facilitate secure and swift product innovation.

Industry context

Roth's appointment comes at a moment when cybersecurity organisations face heightened threats and increased regulatory demands, leading to a growing emphasis on proactive defence and security measures. Outpost24 is responding by strengthening its technical and engineering capacity.
