Okta has appointed Mike Reddie as Vice President and General Manager for Australia and New Zealand.
Reddie will be responsible for leading Okta's regional growth strategy, with an emphasis on expanding customer success, reinforcing a high-performance work culture, and increasing the engagement of the local team in Australia and New Zealand.
He is also expected to advance Okta's partner-first strategy and support efforts towards business specialisation.
Reddie brings nearly three decades of experience to his new role, spanning areas including cloud, security, networking, applications, and AI/data platforms.
Okta stated that Reddie's appointment is aimed at addressing the complex threat landscape that organisations are facing, particularly in the context of evolving cybersecurity threats and technological advancements such as artificial intelligence.
Ben Goodman, Okta's Senior Vice President and General Manager for Asia Pacific & Japan, commented, "With evolving cybersecurity threats and the rapid rise of AI agents, organisations today face new pressures to protect their data, employees, customers, and brand reputation. Mike's deep technical expertise, business acumen, and strong connection to the local market make him the ideal leader to help ANZ organisations strengthen their identity posture and thrive in this environment."
Prior to joining Okta, Reddie held leadership positions including heading ServiceNow's Technology Workflows division, managing VMware's Cloud business, and leading Singtel Optus' Cloud portfolio.
He previously served as Managing Director at Ensyst and held a variety of leadership and technical roles at Alphawest, Broadreach (as Chief Technology Officer), and Citigroup UK, with a consistent focus on the Australia and New Zealand region throughout his career.
Reflecting on his new role, Reddie stated, "Okta's mission to securely connect people to technology has never been more relevant. As identity becomes the front line of security, I'm excited to lead the ANZ team in helping customers adopt a modern identity-first approach and unlock new opportunities for innovation and resilience."
The company highlighted that Reddie's blend of technical skills and leadership experience positions him to guide Okta's regional efforts to address identity security challenges and support customers and partners in the region.
