Netpoleon to distribute SailPoint identity security in ANZ

Today

Netpoleon has been appointed as the official value-added distributor for SailPoint across Australia and New Zealand, expanding a partnership that has previously been concentrated in the wider Asia region.

The announcement was made on Monday and marks a strategic step in strengthening SailPoint's channel ecosystem in the ANZ market. Under the new arrangement, Netpoleon will take responsibility for distributing SailPoint's identity security products, including the unified identity platform, Atlas.

The partnership is expected to significantly bolster the delivery and support of identity governance and access management solutions across sectors such as financial services and large enterprise. Netpoleon ANZ will focus on supporting channel partners with technical enablement and services aimed at improving the security posture of their customers.

"SailPoint's identity security solutions address the growing challenge of managing identities and applications in increasingly complex enterprise environments," said Paul Lim, Regional Director, Netpoleon ANZ. "Netpoleon ANZ is proud to be the value-added distributor for SailPoint, and will augment the local SailPoint team, and enable and support local channel partners."

Lim added that the agreement would allow channel partners to better assist their clients in meeting critical security and compliance needs.

According to the two companies, the collaboration will serve both partners and end customers. For channel partners, it promises enhanced training, enablement, and support for delivering SailPoint technologies. For end customers — particularly financial services institutions and larger enterprises — the goal is to offer improved tools to manage identity governance initiatives, reduce the risk of fraud, and maintain compliance with regulatory obligations.

The Australian Federal Government highlighted identity security as a budget priority in 2024, signalling the importance of these solutions amid growing cybersecurity threats.

Nam Lam, Managing Director for ANZ at SailPoint, said the company welcomed the extension of its relationship with Netpoleon into the region.

"SailPoint is delighted to collaborate with Netpoleon to help customers in Australia and New Zealand embrace our robust identity security solutions and navigate security risks," said Lam.

"To enhance SailPoint's expansive partner ecosystem serving large organisations, we are partnering with Netpoleon to support the increasing demand for identity security in the enterprise market. We look forward to working with Netpoleon to enable enterprises to manage the proliferation of identities and applications, ensure regulatory compliance, and strengthen their security posture."

SailPoint's solutions are designed to help organisations address identity-based threats through automation and policy enforcement, supporting business resilience in increasingly digital and regulated environments.

The partnership reflects SailPoint's broader strategy to expand its global channel-led approach, enabling more organisations to access tools that protect digital identities.

Netpoleon, which operates extensively across the Asia-Pacific region, brings technical capability and established partnerships to its new role in ANZ. The company says it will work closely with existing channel partners to ensure seamless delivery and integration of SailPoint technologies into customer environments.

Both companies see the partnership as an opportunity to scale identity security efforts in the region, with a shared focus on empowering organisations to better manage access, meet compliance demands, and respond to emerging threats.
