KnowBe4 enhances platform with PhishER Plus Threat Intel

KnowBe4, renowned for providing the world’s largest platform for security awareness training and simulated phishing, has announced a significant enhancement to its services. The company has introduced PhishER Plus Threat Intel, a new feature that incorporates website reputation data from Webroot into the PhishER Plus console, thereby facilitating faster and more automated responses to web-based threats.

PhishER Plus Threat Intel is designed to counter the continually evolving strategies of cybercriminals who employ techniques such as drive-by downloads and web-based malware deliveries to bypass traditional security defences. By integrating Webroot’s website reputation data, this feature offers instantaneous internet reputation data, equipping organisations with the tools needed for rapid and intelligent responses to web threats. This new capability is instrumental in managing the mounting cybersecurity risks associated with web-based attacks, emphasising the importance of prompt threat identification and response for security teams.
