IGEL expands into IoT with LG partnership aimed at healthcare

IGEL has announced a strategic expansion into the operational technology (OT) and Internet of Things (IoT) sectors through a collaboration with LG Electronics. This initiative aims to provide a secure and user-friendly digital experience on large-screen LG Business Solutions displays, initially directed towards the healthcare industry.

The new partnership will leverage the IGEL Preventative Security Model, which employs a secure Linux operating system. This model is designed to reduce potential attack vectors and offer enhanced IT security based on a Zero-Trust approach. With this system, customers across different sectors will be able to securely manage and disseminate content on large-screen LG displays.
