CrowdStrike & NVIDIA unite to secure enterprise AI deployments

Yesterday

CrowdStrike has announced that its Falcon Platform is now integrated into the validated design architecture of the NVIDIA Enterprise AI Factory, enabling enterprises to deploy enhanced cybersecurity solutions within their AI infrastructure.

This integration allows organisations using the NVIDIA Enterprise AI Factory to protect their AI systems, models and broader infrastructure with CrowdStrike's cybersecurity capabilities. As global interest in artificial intelligence surges, secure deployment of these technologies is becoming increasingly critical.

CrowdStrike's Falcon Platform can now be used to safeguard the infrastructure powering AI deployments, offering real-time, AI-powered security across applications and data pipelines in a range of industries. The move is designed to address the emergence of risks such as data poisoning, model tampering, and exposure of sensitive data that come with increased AI adoption.

Daniel Bernard, Chief Business Officer at CrowdStrike, commented on the announcement: "CrowdStrike pioneered AI-native cybersecurity, and today we're securing the standardised architecture that's transforming how organisations innovate in the AI era. Together with NVIDIA, we're eliminating the guesswork from securing AI infrastructure with a validated reference architecture. Now, organisations can build NVIDIA AI Factories even faster, adopting AI technologies with confidence and speed. CrowdStrike's collaboration with NVIDIA showcases Falcon's market leadership in securing the AI era for the benefit of all businesses adopting AI for a better tomorrow."

The NVIDIA Enterprise AI Factory validated design, which can be deployed on premises using NVIDIA Blackwell infrastructure, provides both hardware and software solutions supporting every phase of the AI lifecycle. This includes data ingestion, model training, deployment and runtime operations. The comprehensive approach is intended to improve efficiency, speed up decision-making, and promote successful business outcomes by supporting enterprises as they scale their use of AI.

Justin Boitano, Vice President of Enterprise AI Software Products at NVIDIA, said: "As organisations move quickly to operationalise AI, security must be built in from the ground up. CrowdStrike's integration with the NVIDIA Enterprise AI Factory validated design brings real-time, AI-powered cybersecurity to the AI applications driving productivity breakthroughs across industries."

As more enterprises look to operationalise AI and construct advanced AI infrastructure, they encounter new security challenges. These include the potential for attackers to manipulate training data, interfere with AI models, or exploit access to sensitive information. The Falcon Platform, leveraging insights from CrowdStrike's security teams and daily intelligence gathered across customer deployments, aims to offer continuous defence with detection and response capabilities operating at machine speed.

To protect organisations across the entire AI development lifecycle, CrowdStrike is incorporating features such as Falcon Cloud Security AI-SPM, AI Model Scanning, and capabilities for detecting Shadow AI. These tools are designed to identify and mitigate potential vulnerabilities in AI systems before they escalate. The Falcon Platform also provides an overall overview of an organisation's AI security posture.

CrowdStrike's AI Red Team Services and Falcon Adversary OverWatch are included with the solution to help secure enterprise AI operations built on the NVIDIA architecture.

Jay McBain, Chief Analyst at Canalys, said: "Enterprises are moving quickly to operationalise AI – and they need security that can keep pace. By embedding security into the core of the AI Factory architecture, CrowdStrike is empowering organisations to realise their AI objectives faster – from pilot to production – while maintaining the trust, visibility and control needed to scale AI securely."

The collaboration between CrowdStrike and NVIDIA is intended to support organisations in building AI environments securely while maintaining agility and meeting their digital transformation goals.
