CrowdStrike leads Gartner Magic Quadrant for endpoint protection

Yesterday

CrowdStrike has been named a Leader in the 2024 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Endpoint Protection Platforms (EPP) for the fifth consecutive year. For the second year running, CrowdStrike was also positioned furthest right for Completeness of Vision and highest for Ability to Execute among all evaluated vendors.

The CrowdStrike Falcon cybersecurity platform continues to gain recognition for its AI-driven threat prevention, detection, and response capabilities. The platform, which employs a single-agent and unified console, is aimed at addressing the demands of modern enterprises to consolidate cybersecurity efforts. Among its offerings are identity protection, cloud security, IT automation, and next-generation security information and event management (SIEM).

Michael Sentonas, President of CrowdStrike, emphasised the company's pioneering role in AI-native endpoint protection. "CrowdStrike pioneered AI-native endpoint protection, and continues to innovate to meet the evolving demands of global customers," he said. "Our data-centric, single-agent and console platform drives vendor consolidation, removes complexity and stops breaches. We believe this recognition underscores our ability to deliver comprehensive visibility and real-time protection across the enterprise, setting the standard for modern cybersecurity and ensuring customers can secure their critical assets."

As part of its ongoing innovation, CrowdStrike introduced CrowdStrike Signal at the Fal.Con 2024 customer conference. This new feature harnesses AI-powered engines to group related security events and alerts into actionable insights, boasting a self-learning model tailored to specific environments. This development aims to enhance analyst efficiency and reduce the risk of missed detections.

Additionally, CrowdStrike has announced improvements across its Falcon platform. These enhancements include bolstered capabilities in cloud security, identity protection, next-gen SIEM, exposure management, Charlotte AI, and Falcon for IT. The Falcon platform is designed to unify end-to-end security and IT operations, aiming to eliminate complexity and prevent breaches.

In June, CrowdStrike was recognised as a Customers' Choice in the 2024 Gartner Peer Insights 'Voice of the Customer' Endpoint Protection Platforms report, achieving a 99% Willingness to Recommend score based on 524 overall responses as of April 2024.
