Louis Tague brings nearly 30 years of experience in cybersecurity and IT leadership to his new role, where he will focus on market expansion and the adoption of CrowdStrike's Falcon platform. His previous roles include Vice President and Managing Director of ANZ at Google Cloud Security, where he successfully implemented growth strategies during his tenure. Tague's career also includes leadership positions at FireEye, Veritas Technologies, Symantec, CAI Software, IBM, and Fuji Xerox, highlighting his ability to build high-performance teams and expand business presence effectively.

Geoff Swaine, Vice President of APJ Sales at CrowdStrike, remarked, "We are excited to welcome Louis to lead our continued growth in Australia and New Zealand, where his extensive leadership experience and impressive track record in cybersecurity and IT make him the perfect fit for this critical role. ANZ is a key pillar of CrowdStrike's global growth strategy, with organisations in the region continually looking to innovate and enhance their security posture to stay ahead of adversaries. With Louis leading our ANZ business, we will accelerate the adoption of the industry-leading Falcon platform to help organisations stop breaches, reduce complexity and stay ahead of evolving cyber threats."

Louis Tague expressed his enthusiasm for the new role, stating, "CrowdStrike's mission of stopping breaches aligns perfectly with the needs of businesses in Australia and New Zealand, where the threat landscape is rapidly evolving. I am thrilled to be joining CrowdStrike as the company continues its next phase of growth. I look forward to engaging with our ANZ customers and partners, to help organisations throughout the region navigate their security challenges, reduce risks, remain resilient, and protect their most valuable assets in today's complex threat landscape."

Tague's appointment is seen as pivotal for CrowdStrike as the company plans to solidify its presence in the ANZ market. His task will involve driving the adoption of the Falcon platform, which combines AI capabilities with cloud-native architecture, to provide comprehensive cybersecurity solutions for enterprises facing modern threats.

The Falcon platform is highlighted as a key component of CrowdStrike's strategy. It leverages real-time indicators of attack, threat intelligence, and enriched telemetry to deliver accurate detections and automated protection. This platform aims to offer organisations in ANZ a robust solution to safeguard against the evolving threat landscape.
