UiPath unveils new AI automation suite to boost enterprise ROI

Wed, 1st Oct 2025

UiPath has introduced a suite of expanded capabilities for its UiPath Platform aimed at accelerating artificial intelligence transformation for organisations through agentic automation and orchestration.

The expanded offerings combine pre-built solutions, orchestration tools, and enhancements for building and testing agents and automations, all with integrated security and governance. UiPath states that these developments are intended to help organisations achieve greater efficiency, cost reductions, and improved return on investment (ROI) from AI-based transformation efforts.

Agentic automation challenges

Many businesses are increasingly adopting AI agents and automation in a drive to become more efficient. However, challenges remain around identifying suitable use cases and transforming existing processes into repeatable, long-running automated workflows. Additional complexity arises from the difficulty of connecting data across assorted systems and applications, often stalling the progress of automation initiatives and delaying the anticipated ROI.

UiPath previously launched its agentic automation platform earlier this year, creating what it described as a pathway for organisations to initiate their automation projects. The latest suite of enhancements aims to further support enterprise-wide agentic automation by providing ready-made solutions, orchestration capabilities, and supporting tools designed to assist at every stage from agent building to deployment.

Enterprise orchestration with UiPath Maestro

One of the core additions is UiPath Maestro, which delivers integrated orchestration capabilities for end-to-end business processes. The Maestro Case Management feature provides pre-configured orchestration for high-priority business cases across sectors such as claims, loans, disputes, and investigations. Business users are provided with tools to model, manage, and optimise the lifecycle of cases and, through Maestro Process Apps, gain real-time visibility and actionable insights to improve operations.

Industry solutions and workflow automation

UiPath is making newly packaged solutions available that combine agents, workflow automation, and full orchestration, aimed at streamlining industry-specific and business workflow automations. These include pre-built solutions for sectors like financial services, healthcare, customer service, and retail, as well as targeted automations for use cases such as financial crime compliance and know-your-customer processes. The company says that these solutions are designed to support accelerated value realisation, especially in large-scale and repeatable processes.

Agent and automation development

For those developing agents, UiPath announced new options including UiPath Agents, which support agent construction across low-code, conversational, and professional-code environments. The AI Agent Builder provides visual debugging, automatic optimisation, and reusable templates to facilitate deployment. Conversational agents have been extended to platforms such as Teams, Slack, and Copilot, and incorporate features like voice support and the capacity for human intervention where necessary.

Meanwhile, the addition of Coded Agents allows integration with external services, with a Labs Sandbox enabling secure experimentation and Studio Web integration for a unified development experience. UiPath is also introducing features like UiPath Screenplay and API Workflows, which are aimed at making automation more accessible by blending robotic process automation, APIs, and large language/action models with natural language input.

Document processing and data integration

Enhancements to UiPath IXP agentic document processing now offer advanced data extraction and validation, allowing for faster and more secure automation of document-based workflows. Features such as Autopilot for schema creation and new extraction and validation agents reduce manual effort and aim to provide higher accuracy, addressing use cases like contract comparison and system-of-record validation.

Testing at scale

UiPath Test Cloud now includes performance testing, enabling quality assurance teams to simulate user traffic and workloads to assess application performance under real-world conditions. Other updates include Studio Web integration, autonomous test automation, and tools to facilitate direct interaction with UiPath's AI-powered Autopilot in Test Manager, supporting testing throughout the software development lifecycle.

Security and governance

Included in the expanded platform are new security and compliance features. Extended agent guardrails, real-time content moderation for personal data masking, and a Unified Audit platform are designed to provide oversight, accelerate investigations, and integrate audit logs from automations, agents, and governance into existing compliance workflows.

Customer perspectives

"Managing a portfolio of global workforce solutions clients along with thousands of partners in our supplier network presents unique challenges in our business, as everyone operates differently according to their industry, geography, and technology stack" - Paul Kistner, Global Head of Business Transformation, Allegis Global Solutions. "UiPath is more than a vendor-they are a true partner in co-innovation and transformation. With AI agents, robots, and humans working together, we are not just solving today's problems- we are reimagining how our business works and how our services will be delivered in the future. This is our foundation for a smarter, more strategic Allegis Global Solutions."

The company also shared insight from its own leadership on the current state of AI transformation within enterprises.

"AI adoption is on the rise, but tangible benefits are elusive due to lack of clear business ROI, disconnected processes, tools, data, and now also AI agent sprawl," said Graham Sheldon, Chief Product Officer, UiPath. "AI transformation leaders have told us they want more AI or more tools - they want one AI platform to manage it all. Our expanded platform gives them the ability to readily build agents, drive automation across their most common use cases, and orchestrate processes from end to end with the confidence of security and compliance at every step of their journey. We're meeting the demand of modern AI transformation, helping enterprises of all sizes and technical expertise achieve greater agility, responsiveness, and efficiency in their operations, and accelerating ROI from their agentic AI investment."
