Trend Micro honours Vantage Markets for cybersecurity innovation

Thu, 11th Dec 2025

Cybersecurity company Trend Micro has named Vantage Markets as one of the winners in its 2025 Global Customer Awards, recognising the Australia-based trading platform in the Customer Innovator category.

The awards programme highlights 28 organisations across multiple regions and industries. It focuses on corporate leadership, innovation, and operational excellence in cybersecurity.

Vantage Markets received the Customer Innovator award. Trend Micro said this category covers organisations that move beyond standard cybersecurity deployments and use its products in creative ways.

Other winners span sectors including healthcare, financial services, shipping, media, housing, and the public sector. Recipients are based in the US, Canada, South America, Japan, Asia, the Middle East and Africa, and Europe.

Trend Micro said this year’s list includes seven winners from the US, two from Canada, two from South America, two from Japan, eight from the AMEA region, and seven from Europe.

Award categories

The awards run across five categories. These are Customer Visionary, Customer Excellence, Customer Innovator, Customer Cybersecurity Leader, and Customer Ambassador.

Seaco was named as the sole Customer Visionary. The firm operates in the global container leasing market.

Trend Micro said the Customer Visionary category covers organisations that anticipate future needs and challenges. It said these customers also work on technology that other organisations can use.

Sierra-Cedar, Betsson Group, and Graybar Canada received the Customer Excellence award. Trend Micro said this category recognises customers that work closely with its teams and show leadership on cybersecurity in their sectors.

South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust and Vantage Markets joined Seaco among the innovators. Trend Micro said the Customer Innovator group includes customers that use its tools in new ways and change internal processes.

AMN Healthcare, Bank of Baroda, and Jiji Press received the Customer Cybersecurity Leader award. Trend Micro said this category reflects a broad commitment to defending organisations against emerging threats.

Scouting America, Medcan, and Together Housing were recognised as Customer Ambassadors. Trend Micro said this award goes to customers that share their experience and knowledge with peers.

Customer strategies

Trend Micro highlighted comments from award recipients on changes in security operations and risk management.

Seaco has been working with Trend Vision One, which is Trend Micro’s cybersecurity platform. The company said its current focus is on unified telemetry and risk-based remediation.

“Unifying our platform telemetry across all our installed agents and using AI to workbench risk remediation opportunities has been a critical evolution in the way that Seaco has managed cybersecurity globally. To keep up, we must adopt AI-infused cybersecurity and constantly improve the cyber risk index to continually benchmark our performance. Trend Vision One platform has been a foundational investment to realise this strategy and vision. Now we have a single pane of glass view, and one click control that wasn’t possible before,” said Damian Leach, Chief Information Officer, Seaco.

Healthcare firm AMN Healthcare also cited the same platform in its security plans.

“Cyber resilience is built by anticipating change before it becomes a crisis. Security leadership is the ability to make tomorrow’s risks visible today. Trend Vision One has enabled us to bring discipline and clarity to security operations,” said Mani Masood, CISO, AMN Healthcare.

US-based Sierra-Cedar, which provides IT services and consulting, received the Customer Excellence award.

“We’re honoured to receive Trend Micro’s Global Customer Excellence Award. Our close collaboration with Trend, embracing new solutions early and influencing their evolution, has been instrumental in advancing our cloud and security initiatives. Trend’s innovative technology and exceptional partnership empower us to deliver stronger, more secure outcomes for our customers,” said Robert Miller, VP Corporate Security, Sierra Cedar.

South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust was also named in the Customer Innovator category. The mental health provider runs services in South East London and across the UK.

“It’s a real privilege to get recognition for this award from Trend. The team, including those in Trend that work with us, has gone above and beyond time after time, pushing the product to fulfill the business needs of the trust and protect services that serve citizens of South East London and across the UK,” said Stuart MacLellan, Chief Technology Officer, South London Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust.

Trend Micro outlook

Trend Micro framed the awards as evidence of changing views on cybersecurity inside large organisations. It said customers now link security investment with growth, loyalty, and digital transformation.

“We all know that cybersecurity is about more than just protecting organisations from compromise. When properly managed, it can be a springboard for business growth, building customer loyalty, supporting ambitious digital transformation, and helping to carve out competitive differentiation. Our 28 winners, including Vantage Markets from Australia, are the living proof of the power of cybersecurity, and the global impact Trend is making, every single day,” said Srujan Talakokkula, ANZ Commercial Managing Director, Trend Micro.

Trend Micro said it plans to continue working with customers across its award categories as they expand security projects and adopt new threat protection tools.
