Tenable appoints Scott Magill as new Country Manager

Tenable has announced the appointment of Scott Magill as its new Country Manager for Australia and New Zealand.

In his new role, Magill will be responsible for leading Tenable's operations and strategic initiatives across the region, which include enhancing business growth and bolstering partnerships with existing and new channel partners. This appointment is part of Tenable's efforts to expand its cloud capabilities and exposure management platform.

The platform provided by Tenable assists organisations in pinpointing and addressing security weaknesses that result from misconfigurations, risky entitlements, and various vulnerabilities. Nigel Ng, Senior Vice President of Tenable Asia Pacific and Japan, commented on Magill's appointment, stating, "Cloud is the fastest-growing challenge for Australian organisations, and Scott's deep expertise in enterprise security will be instrumental in supporting our customers through this evolving landscape. Under Scott's leadership, we will continue to build strong, meaningful relationships with our customers, helping them gain full visibility across their attack surface to cover everything from cloud to identity vulnerabilities, and traditional IT to operational technology environments."

Magill joins Tenable with over 25 years of experience in IT and cybersecurity. Prior to this appointment, he held leadership roles that focused on enhancing enterprise momentum. Most recently, he was the Regional Vice President for Australia and New Zealand at Rubrik. He has also served as Regional Director at AppDynamics.
