Ping Identity named a leader in passwordless authentication

Ping Identity has been named an Overall Leader in the 2024 KuppingerCole Leadership Compass report on Passwordless Authentication for Enterprises. The report, which evaluates workforce-focused passwordless authentication technologies, places Ping Identity at the top in Overall, Product, and Innovation Leadership categories for its comprehensive approach to digital identity solutions.

The Ping Identity Platform was acknowledged for its integration of the capabilities of ForgeRock and Ping Identity, offering a wide range of use cases, including access management, identity management, cloud-native identity governance, and decentralised identity. The platform also supports identity orchestration, integrating multi-factor authentication (MFA), passwords, and federated single sign-on (SSO) paths. The recognition extends to the platform's support for various types of authenticators such as authentication apps, hardware tokens, email/phone/SMS one-time passwords (OTP), and all flavours of FIDO, including passkeys.
