LogRhythm appoints Mazen Dohaji as GM & VP for new METAPAC region
Thu, 22nd Feb 2024

LogRhythm, the cybersecurity firm that assists security teams to thwart breaches by transforming disparate data and signals into reliable insights, has announced the appointment of Mazen Adnan Dohaji as the General Manager and Vice President of its newly established Middle East, Turkey, Africa, and Asia-Pacific (METAPAC) region. This upward move aims to enhance cybersecurity innovation for local customers and partners. Moreover, it will aid more local organisations in defending against escalating cyberattacks, heighten the sharing of information, and provide dedicated support for multi-market cybersecurity strategies.

Mazen has over a quarter of a century of experience in developing and implementing business strategies that foster growth and prioritise customer results. He has managed strategic markets for some of the world's top IT and Information Security companies. Mazen has helmed LogRhythm's India, the Middle East, Turkey, and Africa (IMETA) office since its inception in 2015, successfully building a substantial customer base and robust ecosystem in this expanding region from scratch. This success will be harnessed in his new role to stimulate commercial collaboration opportunities for organisations in METAPAC and broaden LogRhythm's investment in the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region.

David Kluzak, Chief Revenue Officer at LogRhythm, commented on Mazen's appointment, emphasising his outstanding track record and how he is the perfect fit for the task ahead. He states, "We have already achieved notable innovation in APAC, including establishing a local instance of Axon, LogRhythm's cloud-native SIEM, in Australia with more instances planned across the region in the near future. The next part of our journey is to build on this success to provide the best possible security experience for our customers in METAPAC."

Since joining LogRhythm in 2015, Mazen has overseen the growth of LogRhythm's Dubai office and steered its expanded presence in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA). In his new role as General Manager and Vice President of METAPAC at LogRhythm, Mazen will have complete responsibility for sales, technical support, and client advocacy in the region. He will work hand in hand with his team to assist more organisations to establish a secure foundation against threats and reap the benefits from powerful predictive insights to protect their businesses' future.

Mazen expressed great pride in his team's achievement in the IMETA region and acknowledged their dedication to serving customers across some of the world's most diverse markets. He says, "It is an honour to expand my role within LogRhythm and to enable more organisations to experience our comprehensive approach to cybersecurity strategy and technologies. There is a tremendous opportunity to support CISOs across APAC and deliver world-leading solutions across local markets. As cyberthreats continue to diversify and grow, we're ready to help organisations across the globe enhance their cybersecurity posture and empower CISOs with new strategies and tools."

This strategic promotion comes on the heels of LogRhythm's 7th consecutive quarterly release, underscoring its commitment to driving innovation and solving the cybersecurity industry's largest issues. LogRhythm has resources across all units, from sales to engineering, to provide clients with access to innovation and round-the-clock support across the METAPAC region.
