Fri, 25th Oct 2024

Logpoint has announced the appointment of Frank Koelmel as its new Chief Revenue Officer.

With over 25 years of experience in the cybersecurity sector, Koelmel's addition aligns with Logpoint's commitment to strengthening its position in the European cybersecurity market. His background includes significant roles at Cybereason, where he was President for the Americas and EMEA, as well as leadership positions at Palo Alto Networks, FireEye, and Brocade.

Frank Koelmel stated, "I've dedicated my career to helping customers to be safe and secure. Logpoint has proven to be a great cybersecurity partner, helping organisations improve cybersecurity posture and reduce risk. With a strong foundation of excellent technology, robust data collection, and talented people, Logpoint enables effective threat detection, investigation, and response (TDIR). Logpoint's position as the only major European SIEM provider, combined with its strong commitment to data privacy, makes it an ideal partner for European organisations, particularly those in critical infrastructure and Managed Security Service Providers (MSSPs)."

In his new role as CRO, Koelmel will oversee the strategic vision for revenue growth. His responsibilities will include driving the customer engagement lifecycle and ensuring alignment across Logpoint's support, customer success, sales, and marketing functions to meet customer needs.

Mikkel Drucker, CEO of Logpoint, remarked, "We work to create a safer digital society for organisations, which requires close collaboration with our customers and partners and a people-centric approach to leadership. Frank has an impressive track record of making customers successful, exceeding customer expectations, and fostering growth. I am confident that Frank can reinforce our strong market intimacy and help our customers and partners progress."

Logpoint, known for its European Cyber Defence Platform, enhances threat detection, investigation, and response through SIEM with behaviour analytics, automation, and case management technologies. This platform is designed for mid-market organisations and MSSPs, aiming to strengthen defences against cyber threats while ensuring compliance with European data and cybersecurity regulations.

The company has recently expanded its capabilities with the acquisition of AI-driven NDR provider Muninn, further supporting security teams in the fight against cyberattacks. As the only European SIEM vendor accredited with the Common Criteria EAL3+ certification by NATO, Logpoint underscores its dedication to data protection and privacy.
