Integrity360 acquires Nclose to boost global expansion plans

Yesterday

Integrity360 has announced the acquisition of Nclose, a respected cybersecurity firm based in Cape Town and Johannesburg, South Africa, marking a major step in the company's global expansion strategy.

This acquisition comes after Integrity360's previous purchase of the Cape Town headquartered Grove Group in August 2024. The move will enlarge Integrity360's operations in South Africa to over 180 employees, establishing the region as a significant hub and global Security Operations Centre (SOC) location, catering to both local and international clients. With an additional SOC set to commence operations in Madrid during the first quarter of 2025, Integrity360 will operate across six SOC locations, thereby enhancing its multilingual, round-the-clock managed services suite that includes solutions such as Endpoint Detection and Response, Extended Detection and Response, and Managed Detection and Response.

Founded in 2006, Nclose has earned its reputation for service excellence and serves numerous leading South African and international businesses. Its services encompass a full suite of managed services for cyber infrastructure and a selection of technology solutions from global cyber security vendors like CrowdStrike, Netskope, and McAfee, complementing Integrity360's existing partnerships.

Nclose contributes approximately 150 customers and generates around EUR €18 million in revenue, bringing Integrity360's total to over EUR €150 million in global revenues, supported by approximately 675 cyber security professionals. This acquisition is projected to boost group revenues across the Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) region in 2025 as demand for its services continues to grow.

A key asset acquired through Nclose is the "Cyberfire" platform, an internally developed Managed Detection and Response solution. Geared towards SMEs and mid-market organisations, Cyberfire integrates multiple Security Information and Event Management platforms, as well as network and endpoint technologies. The platform includes over 1,300 AI-enhanced detections of malicious activity, negating the need for third-party SIEMs. Pricing is based on the number of endpoints rather than data volumes, offering a more predictable cost structure.

Integrity360 is set to invest further in Cyberfire to extend its availability to international customers. Nclose's existing clientele will gain access to Integrity360's comprehensive portfolio of cyber services, covering areas such as cyber risk and assurance, security testing, incident response, and PCI compliance, alongside advanced XDR/MDR solutions.

Ian Brown, Executive Chairman at Integrity360, expressed his enthusiasm: "We are very excited to be welcoming the Nclose team to Integrity360. The journey they have been on since their formation in 2006 is highly impressive and we are looking forward to helping them provide an enhanced set of services to their customers and expanding further in the wider South African market during 2025 and beyond. The addition of CyberFire brings another service and growth capability to the group, further expanding the depth of Integrity360's XDR and MDR portfolio for the benefit of our wider international customer base. I look forward to working closely with Stephen, Martin and the team over the coming years."

Stephen Osler and Martin Potgieter, Founders and Directors of Nclose, added: "This is a momentous milestone for us, and we could not be more delighted that Nclose is joining Integrity360 and continuing the growth journey we started almost 20 years ago. Thanks to the support of our customers, partners and employees, Nclose has grown and flourished during that time, and having spent considerable time with Ian and the wider Integrity360 leadership team, we are confident that we will continue to do so being part of the Integrity360 group. We are excited about the future as an organisation, for our people and in particular for what the enhanced group can provide our customers and partners moving forward."
