Gallagher celebrates growth & awards across multiple regions

Today

Gallagher Security has marked the end of a successful year with notable growth and recognition in various regions for their security solutions.

The Controller 7000, a cyber-resilient product by Gallagher, received significant accolades in New Zealand, India and South Asia, Sweden, and Australia, emphasising its role in the current cyber defence landscape. In addition, Gallagher was recognised with Manufacturer of the Year awards in both the UK and US.

Their new Augmented Reality training solution launched in Australia also received positive reception.

Chief Executive Mark Junge attributes these achievements to Gallagher's commitment to research and development and maintaining strong connections with customers.

"We're pushing what our security solutions deliver to make a positive difference in the world," he remarked. "Each year, we reinvest 15% of our annual revenue into R&D so we can uphold our commitment to innovation and lead the way in the industry. The values we uphold as a company are reflected in these awards and I'm thrilled that so many global organisations have honored us in 2024."

Throughout the year, strategic leadership appointments were made to sustain Gallagher's growth. Merv Williams was appointed Chief Marketing Officer in January, while Spencer Marshall joined as Executive Vice President - UK and Europe in November. Williams mentioned that both he and Marshall "stepped into our roles at a pivotal time in Gallagher's journey," with Marshall adding that "it's exciting to be part of a company that has built a great brand within the industry."

Scott Elliott, Executive Vice President – the Americas, underscored the importance of collaboration and networking events in addressing the need for people to gather and learn. He said, "The events I attended this year made it abundantly clear that people need the opportunity to gather and learn from each other to facilitate growth."

Gallagher facilitated connections through an expanded team and record attendance at events such as Intersec, ISC West, and New Zealand's Security Showcase. New networks and training opportunities were established in South Africa and India, alongside the introduction of The Hub—an interactive demo space at their European Headquarters. Further, a new partnership with Chubb China highlighted the company's emphasis on global collaboration.

Partnerships remained integral for Gallagher, with alliances being formed with Chubb China, Clear Digital in New Zealand, and several Australian SMB Lead Vendors.

Craig Schutte, Executive Vice President for APAC and IMEA, commented, "We've got customer and Channel Partner relationships that stem back 30-40 years. It's the strength of these relationships and the strength of our teams that will keep driving our growth, and we're looking forward to being able to add even more value in 2025."

In terms of compliance, Gallagher achieved SOC2 Type 2 global recertification and gained the SSF 1014 Alarm Class 3 certification in Sweden, reinforcing their commitment to security standards and customer trust.

Chief Product Officer Meredith Palmer stressed the importance of adapting to the evolving needs of Gallagher's customers, saying, "As we embrace the evolving needs of our customers, we constantly look for ways to expand the capabilities of our existing solutions and add support for new ones."

In 2024, they enhanced customer-focused solutions, notably the C7000 Enhanced and Apple Wallet employee badges integration.

Looking ahead, Gallagher is focused on an ambitious 2025. Mark Junge stated, "2024 was just the beginning for Gallagher. This year we asked ourselves, what if security was capable of so much more? You'll see the answer to that question in what we've got planned for the new year ahead."
