ExtraHop wins CrowdStrike Innovator of the Year 2024 award

Yesterday

ExtraHop, a company specialising in cloud-native network detection and response, has been named the 2024 CrowdStrike Ecosystem Innovator of the Year. The announcement was made at CrowdStrike's Global Partner Summit during Fal.Con 2024 in Las Vegas. This accolade acknowledges ExtraHop's ongoing partnership with CrowdStrike and the integration of their technologies to enhance cybersecurity capabilities.

ExtraHop had earlier integrated with CrowdStrike Falcon Next-Gen SIEM, a move aimed at enabling joint customers to respond to threats more efficiently. This integration brings network telemetry from ExtraHop's RevealX platform into the artificial intelligence-driven CrowdStrike Falcon cybersecurity platform, providing comprehensive security solutions.

Phil Shigo, vice president of business development at ExtraHop, stated, "As attackers find new ways to evade traditional security controls, enterprises require a robust security stack that can detect, investigate, and remediate threats at every angle. Together with CrowdStrike, we are able to offer SOCs an innovative, world-class solution that integrates our two industry-leading platforms to do just that."

The collaboration between ExtraHop and CrowdStrike aims to provide businesses with extended visibility into both hybrid and cloud environments. By combining the ExtraHop RevealX platform with the Falcon platform, customers benefit from a unified endpoint, network, and additional security telemetry. This integration is designed to maximise detection, investigation, and response capabilities, enhancing the ability to reduce risk, accelerate response times, and build business resilience.

Daniel Bernard, chief business officer at CrowdStrike, congratulated all of this year's Partner Award winners, emphasising the importance of collaboration in cybersecurity. "Stopping breaches is a shared mission, and our partners play a critical role. We celebrate partners who drive innovation, foster growth, and scale successfully to keep global organisations ahead of advanced threats," he said.

This recognition comes on the heels of other significant achievements for ExtraHop. The company was recently named a Leader and Outperformer in the GigaOm Radar Report for Network Detection and Response. Additionally, ExtraHop received the Best Behaviour Analytics/Enterprise Threat Detection Award at the SC Europe Awards 2024. Other accolades include winning the Best in Cloud Security at the CybersecAsia Readers' Choice Awards 2024 and being named Network Cyber Security Business of the Year at the Australian Cyber Security Awards 2024.

CrowdStrike's Global Partner Summit serves as a platform to bring together its extensive partner ecosystem, aiming to accelerate business strategies and improve the efficacy of the Falcon platform in stopping breaches. The summit's awards programme recognises partners that drive business outcomes and innovation with the Falcon platform, exceed revenue targets, and enhance customer relationships.

The partnership between ExtraHop and CrowdStrike highlights the evolving landscape of cybersecurity, where collaborative efforts and integrated technologies are essential for combating advanced threats.
