Exabeam appoints new regional sales manager for ANZ

Exabeam has announced the appointment of Andrew Balestrieri as Regional Sales Manager for the Southern Region of Australia and New Zealand, based in Melbourne.

Balestrieri brings with him three decades of experience in the IT and cybersecurity industry, where he will lead account management and sales for Exabeam's AI-powered cybersecurity solutions across Victoria, Tasmania, Western Australia, South Australia, and New Zealand.

Before joining Exabeam, Balestrieri was the APJ Sales Director for Broadcom Enterprise Security Group for three years. During his tenure, he revitalised the Symantec and Carbon Black brands following their acquisition, concentrating on driving new business momentum with the region's leading enterprise and public sector accounts.

In his previous roles, Balestrieri spent eight years at Ricoh Australia as Team Lead – IT Services, where he was instrumental in driving the success of Ricoh's global ICT managed services business. This included managed IT services, data centre services, engineering solutions, consulting, and technology procurement services.

Earlier in his career, Balestrieri held the position of Senior Business Development Manager at Macquarie Telecom in Sydney. He also has significant international experience, having worked in Ireland and the UK in business development roles for companies such as Digital Island, LeT Systems, and Hibernia Atlantic.
