Cloudflare partners with GlobalDots to provide SOC as-a-service for companies and organisations

FYI, this story is more than a year old

GlobalDots has partnered with Cloudflare to provide Security Operation Centres (SOC) as-a-service for companies and organisations.

The partnership shows that U.S.-based web infrastructure and website security company CloudFlare recognises GlobalDots solutions in multiple as-a-service domains, such as Managed Cloud Services, DevOps services, and NOC.

Security threats are becoming more sophisticated, and state-level actors threaten organisations globally. Companies of all sizes are scrambling to find in-house security engineers, but according to GlobalDots it's becoming increasingly difficult to find potential hires with the experience needed in high demand. GlobalDots says companies, especially fast-growing organisations, are now outsourcing and looking for SOC as-a-service.

As part of the partnership, GlobalDots will continue to provide professional services for CloudFlare's Content Delivery Network (CDN), Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) mitigation, web security products, and Dynamic Domain Name System (DDNS).  After training with Cloudflare solutions, the GlobalDots professional team can provide CloudFlare customers globally with Managed Security Service Provider offerings, including ongoing hands-on keyboard configuration updates and fine-tuning.

GlobalDots will also help customers with security solutions to complement this service, such as cloud workload protection, API security, and open source - code security.

GlobalDots engineers plan to integrate with third-party security tools, services, analytics, and SIEM platforms, such as Splunk, Sumo Logic, and others. GlobalDots will provide a holistic view of a customer's threat profile through these perks, outside just the Cloudflare solutions.

"We are proud to be partnering with CloudFlare in this unique offering," says GlobalDots Founder - CEO, Yuval Rachlin.

"It's an excellent addition to our already diverse portfolio of Edge, Cloud, and Networking services. We highly appreciate Cloudflare's choice to be part of this program, and we will harness the GlobalDots global coverage to make it a great one. Being one of the most advanced network providers we work with, we are confident that our clients will highly appreciate CloudFlare's SOC-as-a-service.

GlobalDots VP of Sales, Thorsten Deutrich, says the company is excited to partner with Cloudflare as a Managed Security Service Provider.

"GlobalDots has the experience of providing services to some of the most frequently visited and attacked web properties globally. Our cybersecurity expertise, combined with Cloudflare's enterprise-grade products, will make this partnership a huge success," says Deutrich.

CloudFlare Head of Support, Otto Imken, says, "It's hard to overstate the importance of the internet as a primary channel for many businesses."
"Dealing with today's volume of data, you need a reliable mechanism to sift through all traffic and find the attacks more easily. Even with the most sophisticated tools, this can be time-consuming work. And that's before you even get to responding and mitigating those attacks."
