Barracuda introduces email protection bundle for channel partners

25 Sep 2018

Cloud-enabled security and data protection solutions provider Barracuda Networks has announced a new email protection bundle, including the full stack of Barracuda’s email security protection.

Barracuda Total Email Protection bundle offers customers a defence against socially engineered business email attacks, fraud and account takeover.

The new Barracuda Total Email Protection bundle includes Barracuda Essentials, Barracuda Sentinel and Barracuda PhishLine.

It is offered with a single SKU for less administration, lower deal friction and a faster sales cycle.

Barracuda channels VP Ezra Hookano says, “Email security was once viewed as a way to stop spam from bogging down workflows - now it’s viewed as mission-critical and requires a multi-layered security approach to successfully protect targeted employees, applications and data.”

“With this announcement, we’re fulfilling a demand from our partner community to offer a single SKU for the full stack of our email protection solutions, offering an easier way for customers to buy the email protection they need, the simplest way possible.”

Barracuda offers customers a combination of gateway security, data protection, AI-based targeted threat protection and user awareness training to deliver comprehensive protection against email-borne threats.

A recent study commissioned by Barracuda revealed that 87% of IT security professionals said their company had faced an email-based security threat in the past year.

The study includes responses from 634 executives, individual contributors, and team managers serving in IT security roles in the Americas, EMEA and APAC.

Overall, the research indicates that email threats continue to increase and the impact on staff and productivity is escalating.

The vast majority of IT professionals believe that end-user training and awareness programs are a vital pre-requisite to help mitigate threats and improve email security.

The Barracuda Total Email Protection bundle offers an end-to-end solution against email-borne targeted attacks and social engineering.
