Auldhouse significantly expands cybersecurity training offerings
Auldhouse set to become one of New Zealand's leading cybersecurity training providers, gaining official rights to the world's top cybersecurity certifications.
ICT training provider Auldhouse has become the official New Zealand partner for a number of the world's leading cybersecurity training providers. It says this will enable it to expand its cybersecurity training offering significantly.
Following its acquisition by DDLS, Australia's largest provider of corporate ICT and digital skills training, Auldhouse has been named the official New Zealand training partner for (ISC), EC-Council, Certnexus, ISACA and Practical DevSecOps. The training provider will also expand its range of CompTIA security courses.
"This means Auldhouse now offers the most comprehensive range of cybersecurity training in the country," says Auldhouse managing director, Melanie Hobcraft.
"Auldhouse can now provide New Zealand organisations, and IT professionals, access to official training courses and material for the world's leading and most in-demand cybersecurity qualifications - for the first time."
This includes certifications such as (ISC) Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), (ISC) Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP), ISACA Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), CertNexus CyberSAFE, EC-Council Certified Ethical Hacker and the Certified DevSecOps Professional and Certified DevSecOps Expert from Practical DevSecOps.
"Auldhouse always aims to deliver the most in-demand training to the market, and cybersecurity skills and training is undoubtedly a must-have for organisations today," says Hobcraft.
"Cybersecurity is more important now than it has ever been. Your data is your biggest asset, and with an increasingly connected world, sensitive IP, financial data is at greater risk than ever. Loss of data can impact revenue productivity and cause irreversible damage," she says.
"With this expanded range of certifications, our customers now have access to the world's best cybersecurity training, so they can develop the skills to secure their organisations from within."
Adding to its cybersecurity portfolio, Auldhouse has also been appointed the New Zealand training partner for backup and recovery specialist, Veeam.
"We are also honoured to bring Veaam training to the New Zealand market," says Hobcraft.
"Veeam is ranked as a leader in the Gartner Enterprise backup and recovery magic quadrant and has the largest market share of any backup vendor in New Zealand."
Auldhouse's new cybersecurity offerings include ISC, an international non-profit membership association. "The organisation is excited to partner with Auldhouse on official training courses for its CISSP, CCSP, SSCP and CSSLP certifications," says ISC global director of sales, Bret Johnson.
"According to our latest Cybersecurity Workforce Study research, Asia-Pacific continues to have the largest deficit of trained cybersecurity professionals anywhere in the world, which increases the risk to organisations everywhere. That's why we are excited to partner with Auldhouse - it gives professionals in New Zealand access to the largest provider of cybersecurity training offerings."
EC-Council, short for the International Council of eCommerce Consultants, is the world's largest cybersecurity technical certification body. As the EC-Council's first Accredited Training Centre in New Zealand, Auldhouse now offer its world-renowned Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) certification.
"We are excited to be partnering with Auldhouse and working closely to train and increase cybersecurity competency and capacity in New Zealand," says Wissen International, business development director of exclusive EC-Council distributor, Judy Saw.
Jeff Felice, president of CertNexus, a vendor-neutral certification body providing emerging technology certifications for IT and security professionals, says having the largest selection of cybersecurity training in New Zealand makes Auldhouse a trusted partner for local organisations.
"Companies need a trusted partner to develop the necessary skills to keep their infrastructure and data secure," says Felice. "Auldhouse boasts the most experienced instructors delivering hands-on training for security professionals and awareness training for end-users to keep organisations cyber-safe."
CompTIA vice president, Business Development ANZ, Loraine Vorster, says the organisation is pleased to collaborate with Auldhouse and work together to help current and future cybersecurity professionals develop their skills, build their confidence, and bolster their cyber readiness.
"The strongest cyber defences begin with technology professionals who are equipped with skills that are current and relevant," says Vorster.
"Building those skills begins with robust training regimens and industry-recognised certifications."
