The top five leading vendors for the global security-as-a-service space have been revealed, with research firm Technavio outlining who is best contributing to market growth.

To identify the top vendors, market research analysts took into the account the revenue generated from the services provided by the vendors in the market for video surveillance and access control hardware and software*.

“Vendors in the market are entering into partnerships to provide the best products, and end-users have the freedom to choose from various security solutions,” explains Amrita Choudhury, key analyst for Technavio's ICT vertical.

“Besides, the integration of products in the market will offer more options for dealers and integrators who are looking to improve their product offerings and services. This will give end-users the flexibility to use security products from the industry's leading software providers,” she says.

Axis Communications

The company's products and solutions are specific to surveillance and remote monitoring. It provides various types of network cameras such as megapixel cameras, outdoor cameras, and thermal network cameras. It also provides video encoders and VMS. Additionally, it also provides accessories such as mounting accessories and camera housings. It serves sectors such as education, banking and insurance, retail, healthcare, and government departments.

Bosch

Founded in 1969 and headquartered in Fairport, New York, US, the company operates as a subsidiary of Robert Bosch. It designs and supplies security equipment for communication, video surveillance, access control, intrusion, and fire detection applications. Bosch Security Systems deals with security equipment for video surveillance, access control, intrusion, and fire detection applications.
