Trend Micro launches new security plugin for MSP partners

27 Sep 2016

Trend Micro has launched a new plugin for MSP partners using the LabTech marketplace, which will enable them to offer customers remote management and professional services automation from the same vendor.

The Trend Micro Worry-Free Services plug-in was developed for the LabTech monitoring platform, which was developed by ConnectWise.

“Our MSP partners are looking for opportunities to improve operational and performance impact in today’s complex IT environment,” explains Indi Siriniwasa, enterprise sales and channel director for Trend Micro Australia and New Zealand.

“Combining Trend Micro Worry-Free Services with LabTech by ConnectWise provides customers with the efficiencies of automated and centralised management of their security needs inside the kind of comprehensive solution that our partners desire," Siriniwasa continues.

The plugin will provide protection against cybersecurity threats, malware, anti-spam, ransomware and data security across all devices. It allows partners to integrate Trend Micro into their existing LabTech console.

“We’re excited to see Trend Micro's continued commitment to ConnectWise product integrations,” says Jeannine Edwards, Sr. Director, ConnectWise Platform Strategy.

“The Trend Micro team continues to collaborate with us through ConnectWise’s official Vendor program, Invent. Adding the LabTech plugin initiative to their existing ConnectWise integration is a significant investment designed to provide the best integration experience for mutual partners," Edwards concludes.
