MPA inks distie deal with Imperva; brings local support into play

MPA has inked a distribution deal with security vendor Imperva, which the vendor says will also provide Kiwi business with ‘significantly improved support for, and access to’ its web site and database cyber protection offerings.

The new deal will see the Kiwi distributor, which specialises in security offerings, distributing and supporting Imperva’s Incapsula and Securesphere products. Customer support has previously been managed from Australia.

Steve Macmillian, MPA New Zealand managing director, says government departments, local bodies and local medium, large and corporate businesses will benefit from the improved access to, and support for, the offerings.

Incapsula is a cloud-based website security offering, while Securesphere provides data protection technologies.

Chris Wood, Imperva Australia and New Zealand country manager, says the partnership will provide local businesses with more a responsive, cost effective offering tailored to their needs.

“The New Zealand market is important to Imperva, and this partnership with MPA will allow us to expand our footprint and strengthen our innovative cyber security solution offering to local business,” Wood says.
