ManageEngine integrates Endpoint Central with Check Point's Harmony Mobile
ManageEngine, the enterprise IT management division of Zoho Corporation, has announced an integration between its flagship solution, Endpoint Central, and Check Point's leading mobile threat defence solution, Harmony Mobile. The mutual goal is to help IT security teams automate the remediation of mobile threats. The incorporation of these technologies provides a comprehensive aid for companies grappling with mobile security challenges.
According to Check Point's 2023 Cyber Security Report, one in 10 organisations was hit by mobile malware in 2022. This situation is being exacerbated by the expanding mobile workforce, presenting hackers with more opportunities to capitalise on mobile devices for malicious purposes. The integration, therefore, becomes crucial as it addresses the burgeoning number of mobile threats that continue to bypass OS-native security measures, including traditional malware, sophisticated phishing attacks, and spyware.
The partnership between the two solutions fosters synergy, providing joint customers with streamlined processes for mobile threat detection, prioritisation and remediation. This results in enhanced operational efficiency and a more effective response to security threats. The collaborative approach places organisations in a stronger position to tackle the mobile security challenges of today.
Discussing the collaboration, Mathivanan Venkatachalam, Vice President of ManageEngine, commented, "In our journey to equip IT security teams to fight against the evolving threat landscape, we have been offering a wide range of security solutions from a unified platform. We are excited to partner with Check Point to enhance our mobile security capabilities, empowering customers with advanced and comprehensive endpoint security."
Commenting on the value of the integration, Jason Min, Head of Business Development at Check Point, stated, "By integrating Check Points Harmony Mobile with ManageEngines Endpoint Central, organisations can achieve holistic endpoint management and security, seamlessly addressing the challenges posed by the rapid proliferation of mobile devices in the workplace. This integration empowers organisations to identify and remediate device, network, and app-based threats across all enterprise endpoints while maintaining operational efficiency."
The alliance enables those using Endpoint Central to bolster their mobile defence capabilities. This addresses the rise in mobile threats and equips organisations with the necessary tools to detect and respond with efficiency. The integration affirms the commitment of both ManageEngine and Check Point to provide advanced mobile security, thereby enhancing the overall cybersecurity landscape.
