Gallagher Security maps global growth & 2026 focus

Tue, 9th Dec 2025

Gallagher Security has reported a year of international expansion, new product launches, and industry awards as it sets out its priorities for 2026.

The Hamilton-based security technology company added senior leaders in every major region in 2025. It also increased direct control in several markets and opened new offices across Africa, Europe, India, the Middle East, Australia, and the Americas.

Chief Executive Mark Junge said the year's performance reflected the depth of the global workforce.

"Our people are the engine behind our momentum," said Junge, Chief Executive, Gallagher Security. "In 2025, we welcomed exceptional new talent, celebrated long-serving contributors, and reinforced the culture that makes Gallagher strong. Their dedication is what propels us forward."

Key leadership appointments included Matt Butts as Executive Vice President - the Americas. The company named Nemer Mdradas as Regional Director MENA. It also made business development hires across Australia, Europe, India, the Middle East, Africa, the Americas, and New Zealand.

Regional build-out

Gallagher increased its presence in Africa during the year. It regained full ownership of its Africa operation, which had previously been part-owned. The company also expanded into more territories in India and the Middle East.

In Europe, Gallagher opened a new office in Stockholm. The company said the site supports its growth efforts in the Nordic region. It reported ongoing expansion across Europe more broadly.

Its Australian operation added new roles and opened an office on the Gold Coast. The company said the location improves customer support, training provision, and access for partners and end users in the region.

Craig Schutte, who oversees Asia Pacific and IMEA, said the shift in Africa and growth across neighbouring regions had changed the regional dynamic. "From renewed investment in Africa to expanding across India and the Middle East, 2025 demonstrated the impact of empowered local teams backed by global strength," said Schutte.

Across the UK and Europe, Gallagher reported increasing demand and closer contact with partners and customers. Spencer Marshall said the company saw rising engagement with its network. "This has been a year of connection, collaboration, and growth across our partner network and customer base," said Marshall. "The traction we've seen sets a strong foundation for 2026."

Product launches

Gallagher released several new or updated products in 2025. The High Security Controller 7000 gained PIV compliance for use in high-assurance sites. The company said the controller offers enhanced cyber protection for sensitive environments.

It launched QuickSwitch during the year. The product is designed to simplify system upgrades. Gallagher reported strong market interest following its release.

The company's cloud-based OneLink product also advanced during 2025. The platform extends end customers' access into additional geographies. It is part of Gallagher's move towards more cloud-delivered services.

Gallagher released a new version of its core software platform, Command Centre v9.40. The update adds new maintenance workflows and changes system architecture. The company said users can achieve higher operational efficiency and a more flexible technical base.

Partner network

Gallagher expanded its partner relationships across the Middle East, India, Latin America, Asia Pacific, and Europe in 2025. It signed a series of Memoranda of Understanding in multiple territories. It also introduced new partner enablement programmes and hosted industry events with local partners.

The company extended its Digital Badge Programme for training recognition across APAC and IMEA. The initiative recognises achievements by channel partners and end users. Gallagher also ran regional partner excellence awards and technical training schemes.

In the Americas, Gallagher focused on events and partner activity under new regional leadership. Recently appointed EVP Matt Butts said engagement had increased across the continent. "The energy across the Americas this year has been incredible," said Butts. "From ISC West and GSX to regional partner events, Gallagher's innovation and community focus are resonating strongly. The foundation laid this year sets us up for significant growth in 2026."

Community initiatives

Alongside commercial expansion, Gallagher highlighted its work with local communities. In Australia, the company set a new fundraising record at its annual Bravehearts Charity Golf Day. It also doubled its breast cancer fundraising goal at the GSX trade event.

The company supported a mobile shark patrol alert system in Australia. The project is used by coastal communities. Gallagher also delivered security upgrades for the 100-year-old Richey Suncoast Theatre in Florida. The work aimed to support the preservation of the historic venue.

Awards and recognition

Gallagher's product releases received several industry awards during the year. The High Security Controller 7000 won awards from the GOVIES. It also received recognition from the Fortress Cybersecurity Awards, the Australian Security Industry Awards, and the Canada OSPAs.

QuickSwitch gained awards at the NSCA 2025 Excellence in Product Innovation Awards and the Security Buyer Awards. The recognition covered its role in easing upgrades for existing installations.

Gallagher also received national recognition in its home market. It was named Best Large Business and Supreme Award winner at the New Zealand International Business Awards. The award judges cited the company's global position and contribution to the country's technology sector.

Focus on 2026

Gallagher said it will build on its 2025 activity in the year ahead. The company plans further growth in its regional structures, partner programmes, and cloud-based products.

"Our teams around the world are united by a shared purpose - to shape a safter, more connected future. We've achieved a huge amount in 2025, and in 2026, you'll see us accelerate in all areas," said Junge.
