Flashpoint signs on emt Distribution as APAC partner

15 Feb 2019

Business risk intelligence firm Flashpoint has partnered with emt Distribution that will open up new opportunities in markets across Southeast Asia and Oceania.

Flashpoint provides threat intelligence and information to defend against cyber adversaries and threats. Its intelligence covers threats including newly evolving malware, zero-day exploits and hacktivism, as well as corporate and physical security risks, insider threats, and fraud.

“This access to illicit online communities is critical for teams to safely access actionable intelligence with the goal of reducing overall business risk. Key use cases that we see greatly benefiting the region are bolstering cybersecurity, combating insider threats, confronting fraud, and addressing supply chain risk, to name a few,” adds emt Distribution CMO Scott Hagenus.

The partnership with emt Distribution, an Adelaide-based value-added distributor, will significantly expand Flashpoint’s aggressive growth across Asia Pacific.

“With emt building out its portfolio of solutions that fall within Cyber Threat Management, we are adding a level of sophistication many channel partners have not had access to in the past,” continues Hagenus.

“This is excellent for businesses and governments who are taking their cyber strategies to new maturity levels and need partners to help them get there. And it’s much needed in today’s threat landscape.”

Channel partners in Southeast Asia and Oceania can now offer Flashpoint’s threat intelligence to their customers, while using emt Distribution’s resources to help with discovery meetings to demonstrations, pre-sales engineering and implementation assistance.

“emt Distribution has long been at the leading edge of providing cyber security solutions to Australia’s private and public sector,” says Flashpoint’s SVP global sales & solutions architecture, Brian Costello.

“Flashpoint is excited and optimistic about this new partnership and helping emt further grow its portfolio to address the growing threat of illicit threat actor communities online.”

Flashpoint runs a Global Channel Program. Value-added reseller partners and value-added distributor partners across Asia Pacific, Europe, North America, and Latin America are all supported by dedicated channel sales managers.
