DataCentreNews and SecurityBrief now in Europe -what it means for you

04 Sep 2017

In late 2017 we established our presence in Europe as a provider of locally focused, relevant and up-to-date tech content – here's a breakdown of what 'we' are.

Techday is a global network of specialist technology news websites that represents the new breed of digital media businesses spanning Asia, Australia, New Zealand and now, Europe.

Despite being a proudly digital-only business, we’ve found that nothing quite compares to having a presence on the ground in order to fully connect with and provide content for our audiences across the globe.

Which is why I took on the role as Techday’s first Europe community editor. With an office based in London, I’m able to work with people and attend events across the region and beyond.

Since arriving I've been reaching out to enterprise, small business and ICT channel professionals to establish contacts in the area and will continue doing so.

If you would like to get in touch with me to make introductions or set up a meeting, please don’t hesitate! You can catch me at ashton@techday.com or call me on +44 75 9771 6333

Also, click here to add me on LinkedIn.

The sites that I am currently focusing my attention on are DataCentreNews Europe and SecurityBrief Europe, although we do have a couple more on the near horizon that will be targeted at separate niche audiences of their own, so stay tuned!

DataCentreNews covers the news and views of the data centre scene for Europe, including the latest news about data centre launches around the region, vendor news and trends, along with analyst reports and expert opinion and analysis from within the data centre industry.

Our SecurityBrief site is entirely dedicated to cybersecurity, threat and protection news that covers everything from hottest trends to latest threats and newest solutions.

Both sites are updated regularly with news, interviews, reviews, expert opinions and each has a weekly newsletter.

You can get a better idea of just how our global editorial team works by clicking here too.

Our expansion into Europe represents a great opportunity for all involved as I am now equipped to attend more events, make more contacts and give Techday a greater capacity to cover nationally relevant stories.

It also gives us further insight into Europe’s technology sector, whether that be enterprise, business, government, ICT channel or consumer technology. This means looking at more trends, being better able to cover developing stories and getting more professional opinions and interviews.

I look forward to becoming a friendly and familiar face in the Europe IT community as we expand our presence in the area. Again, feel free to contact me via email on ashton@techday.com or call +44 75 9771 6333 and don’t forget to add me on LinkedIn.
