Rising customer activity

The company also recorded a more than tenfold year-on-year rise in joint co-selling engagements. Both firms now broadly target sectors including healthcare, finance, manufacturing, retail, and the public sector.

Joint innovation
Technical collaboration spans development using Azure OpenAI in Cohesity's Foundry Models, Microsoft Copilot Studio, Sentinel, and Defender.
Such efforts have resulted in new offerings for enterprise customers. Among these, Cohesity Gaia serves as an AI assistant for legal, compliance, and security teams, providing automated workflows and insights through natural language search and classification.
The company's DataProtect, threat protection, data classification, and SmartFiles solutions run on Azure, using native services for security, threat detection, and intelligent management. Integration with Microsoft 365 Copilot and other Microsoft services enables compliance, audit readiness, and risk mitigation.
"Our work with Microsoft is transforming how organisations everywhere protect and manage data in the era of AI," said Sanjay Poonen, CEO and president, Cohesity. "Together, Cohesity and Microsoft are building the secure foundation for AI-delivering smarter, safer, and faster outcomes for global customers."
