Check Point honours top Asia Pacific partners for cybersecurity

Check Point Software Technologies has recognised its top partners from across the Asia Pacific region for their contributions to cybersecurity at the Check Point Asia Pacific Partner Conference 2024. The annual event, held in Phuket, Thailand from 2nd to 5th September, honoured partners in various categories for their excellence in providing cybersecurity solutions.

During the conference, which saw the attendance of 240 regional partners from 19 countries, Check Point highlighted the importance of strong partnerships in bolstering cybersecurity efforts. Pankaj Narayan, Head of Channels for Check Point Asia Pacific, underscored the significance of these collaborations. “Check Point Software is proud to recognise the outstanding contributions of our top business partners across Asia Pacific. These partners deliver unparalleled business value by adopting our 3Cs of security, which play a crucial role in consolidating a stronger security posture for our customers,” he stated.

Among the Australian-based winners, NEC Australia received the Partner of the Year Award. NEC Australia has consistently collaborated with Check Point, focusing on State and Federal Governments and the health sector. The companies have aligned their sales, presales, post-sales, marketing, and executive teams to mutually grow their business through a joint Go-to-Market Plan.

Dicker Data Australia was awarded the Growth Distributor of the Year Award. This distributor, with over 45 years of experience, achieved over 100 per cent year-on-year growth in new business with Check Point in the first half of 2024. The growth was attributed to partner enablement, including the highest growth in new MSSP Partners, successful onboarding of new partners, and innovative marketing strategies targeting enterprise, mid-market, and SMB partners.

Red Education, based in Sydney, Australia, clinched the Authorised Training Centre Partner of the Year Award. This award acknowledges Red Education’s decade-long partnership and commitment to excellence in cybersecurity education. The company’s efforts in addressing the cybersecurity skills gap have been instrumental in building a foundation for a more secure digital future.

Globally, other notable awards included NTT Ltd. winning the GSI Partner of the Year Award. NTT demonstrated remarkable return to growth in the first half of 2024 with triple-digit growth in ANZ and Taiwan and substantial high double-digit growth nearing triple digits in Singapore and China. NTT secured significant new customer bookings and played a pivotal role in winning ITP deals with large enterprise customers.

The Growth Partner of the Year Award was given to NCS Pte. Ltd in Singapore. NCS has consistently been a strategic partner for Check Point in Singapore, driving strong year-on-year growth across the Government and Enterprise sectors. The Harmony Partner of the Year Award went to Softcell Technologies Global Pvt. Ltd in India, recognised for their extensive experience and success in demand generation initiatives for Harmony Enterprise and Collaboration offerings.

The Cloud Partner of the Year accolade was awarded to ASF Consultancy Limited in Hong Kong for their dedicated focus on Check Point’s cloud business. ASF has remained the top cloud partner in Hong Kong for two consecutive years. On the other hand, ST Engineering Info-Security Pte Ltd in Singapore won the Quantum Partner of the Year Award for their expertise in network security services and their successful deployment of Check Point Quantum and Hyperscale solutions.

Infinity Partner of the Year Award was given to Vastcom Technology Limited in Macau, credited for leveraging Infinity Global Services' offering and upscaling from a renewal project to secure a million-dollar deal. Hitachi Systems India Limited, recognised for its collaborative approach and custom IT services, received the New Customer Partner of the Year Award. Tech Data Advanced Solutions India Pvt. Ltd was honoured with the Distributor of the Year Award for its highest annualised revenue for Check Point in India.

The conference highlighted the importance of these partnerships in enhancing cybersecurity capabilities amidst the growing sophistication of global cyberattacks. Narayan added, “With Check Point’s prevention-first approach and our partners' dedication, we are poised to elevate our engagements, create more opportunities, and achieve our shared mission of securing the world.”
